The Defined Contribution (DC) Participant API enables plan sponsors to review account information that could affect a participant’s plan eligibility, including employment status such as suspension or termination.
Benefits and features
Plan sponsors can use this API to capture and review eligibility data, including changes to employment status that may affect benefits, such as a 401(k) match.
In addition, with this information, plan sponsors may be able to create personalized benefits experiences for participants. For example, they could create push notifications to remind participants that they are eligible for retirement benefits at 1,000 hours of service.
How it works
The DC Participant API enables plan sponsors to monitor benefits eligibility data, including home address, plan information, and employment status.
