The Human Resource Payroll (HRP) Pay Statements API connects your payroll system to the Fidelity workplace benefits ecosystem for accurate payroll deductions.
Benefits and Features
Our Pay Statements API integrates complex payroll operations to help increase the speed of funding contributions.
How it works
Once the plan sponsor processes payroll, their system contacts Fidelity’s HRP Pay Statements API, which responds with a workload identity (workload ID). The system then sends pay details to Fidelity via the workload ID. When the transfer is complete, the system contacts the API to close the transaction, and Fidelity validates that data is complete.
Sample use cases
These examples show pay statement queries for events such as payroll initiation, workload IDs for checking payroll status, and paycheck data for recording deferrals and employer matching.
Initiation of pay data
In this use case, Fidelity is notified that payroll has been initiated for a specified number of participants.
Pay-specific data
In this use case, a participant's pay data is transferred to Fidelity via workload identification and can be queried for deferrals and deductions.
Workload status
In this use case, the user can check the status of a payroll transfer via a workload ID.
